On the results of the visit of the Director General of the Uzstandard Аgency to the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE).

In accordance with the invitation of the President of the Turkish Standards Institute - Sebahattin Korkmaz, with the aim of developing bilateral relations and bringing them to a new level,  on April 26-27 this year Director General of the Uzstandard Agency, carried out a visit to the Turkish Republic.
During the visit, have taken place the negotiations and an exchange of views were held with the President of the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) - Sebahattin Korkmaz.

Performed familiarization with the infrastructure of testing laboratories of the Turkish Standards Institute, in particular, on testing of electrical, food, chemical products, fuels and lubricants, indicators of  energy efficiency, etc.

It is worth mentioning the laboratories of the Turkish Institute of Standards with modern testing and measuring equipment, the results of which are recognized throughout the world.

From the Turkish Standards Institute was represented a detailed presentation on the spheres and areas of activity conducted by international organizations on standardization and conformity assessment.

The sides views were exchanged on standardization and conformity assessment, and identified priorities for the development of relations are determined.

During the negotiations with the Turkish Standards Institute, accomplished signing the program of cooperation between the Uzstandard Agency  and the Turkish Standards Institute for 2017-2019.

An agreement was reached to upgrade the skills and internships of the specialists of the Uzstandard Agency system in the Turkish Standardization Institute.

In addition, in accordance with the preliminary agreement with the Turkish Standards Institute, in the period from 25 to 28 April this year. 15 specialists of the regional centers of testing and certification of the Uzstandart Agency underwent further training at the Turkish Standards Institute.
