On January 25 of the current year, the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation held a meeting with Tanaka Koichi, project expert of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and advisor of the Ministry of Energy and representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the benefits of implementing an energy management system in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 50001, the experience of Japan and Uzbekistan in energy efficiency and conformity assessment, ongoing work, cooperation in training, retraining and advanced training under the JICA project.
At the end of the event, it was agreed to intensify bilateral multifaceted and mutually beneficial cooperation in these areas.
