On the eve of World Metrology Day, on May 19, 2020, was held a videoconferencall (VCC) of Uzbek National institute metrology (UzNIM) management and specialists with World Bank experts. The VCC was organized within the framework of the agreement of the “Uzstandart” agency with representatives of the World Bank on conducting expert discussions on metrology and accreditation.In the VCC participated from UzNIM director L. Saidoripov, vice-director N. Raimjonov, as well as department heads - M. Yunusov, M. Mavlyanov, Sh. Ismatullaev, A. Ismailov and Kh. Mamarasulov. Behalf “Uzstandart” agency participated General Director Advisor A. Pardaev. At the VCC was to discussed the issues of expanding the reference base, obtaining international accreditation (COOMET, TURKAK), as well as promoting the commercialization of research results.
      Based on the results of the online dialogue, it was decided to develop a strengthen cooperation with the world Bank through the development and implementation of a joint work program on the base a specific proposals for the commercialization of research results, the expansion of the Etalon base, an increase in the range of metrological services in medicine and pharmaceuticals, the widespread introduction of digitalization in the activities of Uznim, as well as assistance in obtaining membership in prestigious international and regional metrological organizations.
