In order to implement the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 12, 2018 № PP-4059 “On measures for the further development of systems of technical regulation, standardization, certification and metrology”, the Uzstandard agency signed a Cooperation Agreement between the European Committee for Standardization (CEN).

 As a result of the signing of the cooperation agreement, it became possible to obtain and widely use the standards of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN).

These European standards serve local manufacturers to produce their products in accordance with European standards, improving product quality, increasing competitiveness and increasing their export supplies.
