More than 100 specialists from national standardization organizations from 39 countries of the world during an international event discussed the development strategy of SMIIC 2016-2020, the compliance of Halal systems and services, key issues that determine the development prospects in the field of standardization, the development of standardization in high-tech sectors of the economy, and government participation in standardization, interstate cooperation, the use of IT as a modern tool in the field of standardization.

During the event, meetings of strategic and bilateral cooperation between the Uzstandard agency and standardization bodies of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Thailand and Egypt were held.
