Today President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Surkhandarya region to review the progress of social-economic reforms in the region and creative and improvements works as well as to uphold a dialogue with people.

On February 8, 2017 Uzbek-Kuwaiti Business Forum was held in Kuwait city. The governmental delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which is in the State of Kuwait on an official visit, attended the forum.

Literary and artistic gatherings and poetry evenings are being conducted in various regions of Uzbekistan on the occasion of a birth anniversary of great poet Alisher Navoiy.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev paid a visit to the Khorezm region on 27 January to review the progress of implementation of the social-economic reforms, accomlished creative and improvement works in the region, to have a dialogue with people.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on January 26 at the Tashkent High Military Command held a working meeting with the senior officials of the Ministry of defence.

At the Tamara-Feruza privately-owned enterprise in Amudaryo District of the Republic of Qoraqalpoghiston, north-western Uzbekistan, national and modern clothes as well as school uniforms are produced.
