On May 20 of this year, the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Latvia and the Uzstandard agency held videoconference with the participation of representatives of GLOBAL G.A.P and local farms.

On May 20, 2020, in collaboration with the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the United Nations in Geneva and other international organizations and the Uzstandard Agency, a video conference was held with representatives of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

On May 15, 2020, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Singapore and the Uzstandard agency, a video conference was held with representatives of Alpha Global Capital (Singapore) Pte Ltd and HQC Pte Ltd.

In order to implement the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 12, 2018 № PP-4059 “On measures for the further development of systems of technical regulation, standardization, certification and metrology”, the Uzstandard agency signed a Cooperation Agreement between the European Committee for Standardization (CEN).

On May 7, 2020, the Uzstandard agency held a video conference in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the UK and the British company Pride in Food, which imports agricultural products from Uzbekistan.

In order to ensure the implementation of government decisions aimed at the development of electrical engineering, on April 9 current year in our country with the support of the Uzstandard agency, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Institute of Standards of Uzbekistan, JV UZKABEL, “TOPFIN result“ LLC, “Uzelectroapparat-Electroshield”, LLC “Uzenergosozlash” were accepted as a member of the technical committees of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) (attached below).

On April 7, 2020, an online conversation took place at the Uzstandard agency with E. Strazdina, Regional Coordinator of the GLOBAL GAP organization for Central Asia, Latvia and Europe.

As previously reported, a Cooperation Agreement was signed with Uzstandard agency and ASTM International organization of the United States of America, which provided free access to more than thirteen (13,000) US standards and participation in technical committees.

On March 9, 2020, the Uzstandard agency met with Oliver Diththardt, coordinator of the Regional Project of the Physics and Technology Institute of Germany (PTB) to strengthen the quality infrastructure in Central Asia, PTB metrology expert Clemens Sanetra and international accreditation expert Manfred Kindler.

In recent years, a number of projects have been implemented in our country with the participation of international organizations, in particular with the Asian Development Bank, one of the international financial institutions.
