Patient safety is a key ISO priority.Clinical investigation  of medical devices are strictly regulated with numerous regional and national regulations and requirements that must be followed by manufacturers and researchers, as well as other parties involved in clinical trials.       

Maintaining cleanliness and personal hygiene has never been more essential than during the global health crisis. While washing our hands regularly is primordial to reduce the spread of infectious diseases, so is keeping clean all the many surfaces we encounter. ISO has a number of standards that help households and industries protect themselves from the harmful effects of pathogenic microbes.

We had never thought about the state of our environment before

In order to develop production in the republic, regulation and compliance systems based on the international requirements of Organic and Global GAP, improve quality and safety indicators, expand the geography of exports of agricultural and forestry products, as well as increase the possibility of the fullest use of the potential of organic production, by the agency of July 24, 2020 No.-05-1187 in the country, the international standard ISO 28000 of the Supply Chain Security Management System is being introduced in the original language.

In 2019, ISO continues to meet and exceed expectations. For example, 1,638 documents (over 84,000 pages) were published in ISO, more than in any other year. These include standards such as ISO / IEC 27701, which will play an essential role in combating threats to online privacy, standards that enable sustainable integrated urbanization through Building Data Modeling, and ISO 56002, a new innovation management standard. In addition, the indicator of international standards and ISO model documents as of December 31, 2019 is 22 913. In the same year, the technical bodies developing standards in ISO are 3 632, and the number of meetings held in 61 countries reaches 3 677.These standards include over a million pages that are available in English and French.

ISO announced the recently approved specification for electric bicycles. Nowadays, electric bicycles are considered the ideal means of transportation. Undoubtedly, they are considered to be one of the best pollution control solutions. The industry is ramping up production at a breakneck pace to meet demand, posting strong growth prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. With the period of isolation, the demand has only increased. People don't just want to avoid public transportation, they just want to get around in the fresh air.
